What is beauty bias?
Beauty Bias makes you prefer a candidate that you perceive as more attractive, as they are commonly perceived also as more, happy, sociable, and successful than people you don’t find attractive.
This bias also fosters the Halo Effect & Horns Effect.
Example situation hiring process.
Finding a candidate very attractive during a job interview can foster the Halo Effect (this effect makes you think a candidate is suitable for the role because of just one characteristic that sounds out for you).
