Short summary

In this webinar Charlotte Melkert, CEO of Equalture, talks to Ludmila Praslova, PhD, SHRM-SCP, about the reality of neurodivergent talent in the hiring process and at work.

Neurodiversity refers to the range of differences in individuals’ neurodevelopment, for example autism, dyslexia, ADHD, etc. It is a topic that is increasingly being covered and experts like Ludmila Praslova have been fundamental in raising awareness around the topic and providing concrete models on tackling the persistent exclusion and discrimination of austic people from the labour market. 78% of autistic people in the UK are unemployed. In the Netherlands it is 55%. Yet, neurodivergent employees are up to 140% more productive than their neurotypical peers. Ludmila Praslova refers to this as the Autism Employment Paradox.

This is only the tip of the iceberg. And what can be done to make the recruitment process and workplaces more inclusive in order to provide equal opportunities and conditions to all cognitively diverse talen?
