This serves as a code of conduct to create a safe and respectful environment for all attendees of the Breaking Bias Summit organised by Equalture BV. It encourages appropriate behaviour in order so that the event remains a trusted environment.

Respect for all attendees

All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at the event are required to show respect and kindness to others. Harassment, discrimination, and any form of disrespectful behaviour are strictly prohibited.

Inclusivity

The event is designed to be inclusive and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion, or any other personal characteristic. We encourage all attendees to be mindful of the diversity of our community and to actively promote inclusiveness.

Accessibility

The event organisers are committed to making the event accessible to all attendees, including those with disabilities. We will provide appropriate and reasonable accommodations, upon request.

Confidentiality

The event organisers respect the privacy of all attendees. Personal information shared during the event should not be disclosed without the individual’s consent.

Anti-harrassment policy

Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to, sexual harassment, racial harassment, and harassment based on any other personal characteristic, will not be tolerated. If an attendee engages in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including expulsion from the event.

Reporting incidents

If an attendee experiences or witnesses harassment or any other form of disrespectful behaviour, they are encouraged to report it to the event organisers. Reports can be made anonymously, and all reports will be handled confidentially and promptly.

Anti-substance-abuse policy

The use of illegal drugs and excessive alcohol consumption is prohibited.
